Linen thread is the most common kind of thread used in traditional bookbinding works. It’s strong and usually very thin, therefore perfect for delicate projects or when sewing several signatures at a time (like in Coptic Binding).
The linen thread is available in 6 colours and per 10 meters. To give you a better idea of how much thread this is: for a Chain Stitched Notebook (A6 size), you will need about 75 cm of thread.
Packed in a card made of hand-marbled paper leftovers. The thread has been pre-waxed, but you can get extra beeswax to wax it again if necessary.
This thread is perfect for a needle size 18 and for works like Chain Stitch Binding or Coptic Binding.
