A tool specially designed for stitch binding techniques, like the Japanese stab binding.
Be careful when punching the holes in the paper or cardboard and don’t hurt yourself! When using the bookbinding awl for Japanese stab binding works, use a piece of wood or cardboard between the paper and the surface of your work area to avoid making marks on it.
The bookbinding awl has a handle made of wood, approx. 2 cm in diameter. Use a piece of cork to protect the needle.
Packed in a handy wallet made of hand-marbled paper leftovers.
