Japanese Notebook Set – Shibori Style

The Japanese books were handmade from scratch: the covers were hand-dyed on Japanese Sumi-e paper in my Bookbinding and Paper Studio. They are 100% unique, not a digital reproduction. I hand-dyed the covers using the traditional tie-dye technique called Shibori. Once the paper was ready, I hand bound the covers to the inner pages using the Japanese stab binding technique Kangxi.

The set contains two unique notebooks in A5 format.
